Summer 2008 Recreational Online Registration

It’s that time of year again…TUSA is looking for rec soccer players from the Minnetonka area and surrounding communities. The Summer 2008 Rec program is open to boys and girls entering K-9th grade for the 2008-2009 school year.  The season runs early May through mid-July.  Don’t miss out on all the fun, register today!

 

Online registration opens February 15 on our website and will be based on the grade the child will enter in the 2008-2009 school year for K-9th grade boys and girls.  Registration fees are $90 for K-1st grade and $120 for 2nd-9th grade. 

 

The deadline to register is March 24.  Registrations received after that date will be assessed a $25 late fee.  The player will be placed on a waiting list and will only be placed on a team if space is available.  If there is no team for the late registrant, the registration fee will be refunded. 

 

Uniforms

If your child did not purchase and/or participate in our program last year, you will be required to purchase the new Tonka United rec uniform for $35.  The rec uniform includes: a blue and a red jersey, black shorts and blue socks.  The $35 uniform fee IS NOT included in the registration fees listed above.

 

Summer Starz of Tomorrow Camp

In addition to our Summer Recreational Program, we offer a summer camp for recreational players ages 5-10 led by David Wall and staff. The week long adventure will meet at Minnetonka Middle School West (MMW) June 9-13 from 9 am – Noon.  The cost is $110 per player. Volunteers

We are always in need of volunteers to fulfill the following positions: coaches, assistant coaches, team managers, age group coordinators, assistance with the Tonka Blast as well as special projects.  

  • Coaches - will receive training from our Rec Director prior to the season
  • Team Managers - will be responsible for assisting coaches with a phone tree and treat schedule
  • Age Group Coordinators - will be responsible for assisting with team formation

Please Read Before Registering

TUSA no longer offers mail-in registration. You can safely use your credit card or opt to mail-in a check. Please note that your child's registration is not complete until payment is received.

 

We have implemented a new online registration system as of November 2007. Thus, if you did not register your child for the 2008 Winter Starz of Tomorrow Program you will need to establish a new account. If you registered for the Winter Starz, you may bypass the rest of these instructions and register using your username and password; otherwise, please carefully read the following:

  • The registration information is retained by player and not by household.
  • The first time you go to register for any of our programs, you must create a new account for each child.
  • Select the "New Player or Returning Player - Don't Have User Account" option.
  • Each player will need a unique username; however, you may use the same password for all of your children.
  • Your children will now be in the system for all future registrations.
  • Please call the Tonka United office at 952-475-9178 if you have any questions or problems registering online.
